The Best Happy Hour Spots Around LA

In the words of Destiny’s Child, ladies leave your man at home. It’s time to go outside and enjoy the hottest summer nights that LA has to offer. The city is heating up once again, and we have your favorite list of clubs to enter throughout the weekend. Although the club scene is not always what you expect, we’re putting our favorites on blast and hope you have a section lit soon.

  • Ballet: She’s at the ballet but she’s not a dancer! However, there will be ballerinas in the building. Live ballerina style dancers await as you enter this club, where you’re bound to hear some of your favorite music and indulge in a celebrity hosting for the night. The best time to hit this club is on a Saturday, and there will be black people in the building.

  • Nightingale: This club is well-known for their Sunday nights. A more upscale vibe, this place sets the mood for an unforgettable night out. Located in the heart of West Hollywood, this place usually has A-list arrivals inside the venue. You might have been to one of your favorite’s release party here, or partying with Chris Brown. A true hot-spot, please bring your best heels out and come pop-bottle ready.

  • The Reserve is one of the most unique spots in the city. Fashioned as an old, abandoned bank, its massive location is home to some of the largest parties and crowds in all of Downtown LA. This club is more than likely to play your Top 40 hits, and has maintained its reputation of consistency even after the pandemic. There are two rooms available to explore: a main room and a smaller room. The smaller room has more of a reggae/latin feel to it, as far as the music it’s definitely giving variety and range.

  • Dave and busters: That liquor gives you energy when you’ve got games to play! Going to Dave and Buster’s with a large group of people always hits the spot when it comes to drinks. The Happy Hour here is perfect for a night out, but be careful bringing a date here if you’re planning on sending them home a sore loser.

  • Melody’s Bar by LAX is for the grown folks only. The shot sizes are bound to leave you singing and dancing like you’re at a family function. With a few aunties and uncles in the building, after 10pm the crowd is tailored for people over 30.

  • Joey’s DTLA has an after-work feel to their location. Holding it down in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, right next to the Intercontinental you’ll see plenty of the working class head in and out for mid-day or Happy Hour meetings. The best part about the happy hour here is the networking it comes with.

  • Chili’s is an automatic go-to for any Happy Hour no matter what the budget is. The margarita of the month, green tea shots, and sangria Rita’ are some of my favorite picks on the menu. Coupled with your favorite classic Texas cheese fries or wings, we’re never too good for Chili’s.

  • Yard house is the most ideal place for the girls to catch up over drinks like we’re on Love & Hip-Hop. The smoking cocktails here are just part of the humble ambience that each location has to offer. Make sure to check ahead which times the Happy Hour specials are available for the location you plan on gathering at, you won’t be disappointed either way.

  • (Honorable mention) - Fin & Feathers RIP - Rest in Power to the most popular happy hour and brunch in marina del rey ! We will surely miss the unlimited mimosas, hookah on the patio, and seeing all of our

favorite people at this mixy location while buying each other shots at the bar. Full of memories and celebratory moments, Fin & Feathers may be gone, but they’ll never be forgotten.
