A lot of us have been enjoying Mama shelter in Los Angeles for years. From upscale brunches to casual dates Mama shelter has been holding us down for almost a decade. From my vantage point Mama Shelter has somewhat started to lose steam if I’m being honest, but this most recent news is making me re-think about the brand.

It was recently announced by Ennismore that they have officially signed and are planning to bring a second location to Los Angeles, This time in DTLA. Ennismore one of the fastest growing lifestyle hospitality companies made the announcement this week that they would partner with Shivom LLC to make this new move a reality.

Kevin Wadhwani, Managing Partner at Shivom LLC, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Ennismore, the renowned hospitality company, to bring Mama Shelter for the second time to the dynamic landscape of Los Angeles. This marks an exciting step forward in bringing one-of-a-kind, lifestyle-focused brands to LA. Our new hotel will sit near the impressive 1.20 million sqft California Mart, a veritable hub of commercial activity, housing prestigious offices and showrooms of fashion houses. The strategic location enhances the appeal of our offering, creating an inviting space for locals and guests to experience the lively energy of LA, wrapped in the comfort of Mama Shelter.

They expect to bring the project to life early 2026. The new location will be at 124 E. Olympic Boulevard. The current Vacant structure will be converted into The Hotel which will feature four main suites and 154 standard rooms alongside a fitness center and parking garage. This is exciting news as we see more & more changes & infrastructure be brought to Los Angeles over the next coming years.
