1500 Sound Academy Is The Future Of Los Angeles Sound

Most music fans can say they have heard the names James Flauntleroy and Larrance Dopson. The names of two individuals who have had their hands on some of the worlds most timeless music to date.

Between them both are credited with multiple Grammy as well as the cultivation of the 1500 Or Nothin Crew a team comprised of creators who have written and produced for artists such as Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, and Kanye West just to name a few.

Now after so much success in the mainstream music world the two have set their eyes on a new prize; raising the talent of future legends and music lovers.

Their latest project the 1500 Sound Academy is the tool they built just for that. 1500 Sound Academy which is 1500 or nothin alongside the backing of Volume Ventures has come together to create an intimate and hands-on music production program that enables students to learn the principles of music production in a real recording studio with industry veterans as their instructors.

In a recent visit to the Academy which spans over twenty thousand feet, SBRBN was pleased to learn that although this is a school of musical creation Larrance and James have a much bigger vision. The academy is much more than music, it is an incubator, a catalyst and an inspiration for young creatives not just in the industry of music, but in sound as a whole.

The 1500 Sound Academy which was built in the heart of Inglewood CA and is still being expanded on. Head Manager, IZ told SBRBN that the Academy “will be a hub for all young professionals who want to develop their skill set in the art of sound. He continued “Whether its film, music, gaming or even business”.

The Academy is truly the first of its kind and although it is far from finished it has gained the support of some of the music industries most notable stars. It will be interesting to see how much the academy is able to grow as time goes on

  1. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I’d by no means understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very extensive for me. I am having a look ahead for your subsequent publish, I will try to get the hold of it!
