Lil Drift Releases New EP “Closer Than Yesterday”

Rising superstar Lil Drift returns to the scene with a fire new EP titled Closer Than Yesterday. Starting the year off strong, he has creating an impressive body of work that takes his original sound to new heights. Known for his viral freestyle he pinned while in high school, Lil Drift is gearing up for his most successful year yet. You can expect to hear fire lyrics, booming beats and high energy vocals, from beginning to end as he take listeners on a musical excursion.

On this six track project you will hear a more mature sound from the LA based rapper. He does an excellent job showing off a softer side to his creativity as Closer Than Yesterday has more of a melodic flow to it. Some lyrics that stand out the most include “In a club on a Tuesday fuck it up on your birthday yea I’m going to make it nasty in the worst ways show me something fuck around and get your bills paid.” These cutting edge lyrics prove that he is lyricist, and not just a millennial rapper.
